About Us
Introducing a Healthy Place To Work®
Founded by John Ryan, Global CEO, Healthy Place To Work® was established with a clear purpose: to redefine how organisations understand, measure, and improve workforce performance through the lens of health.
With decades of leadership experience across global business, John recognised a critical challenge facing organisations worldwide — traditional approaches to workplace health and wellbeing were failing to deliver meaningful or sustainable business impact. In response, Healthy Place To Work® was created to provide organisations with a science-backed framework that connects employee health, leadership, psychological safety, engagement, and performance into one integrated view of organisational health.
A Global Movement for Sustainable High Performance
Launched globally in January 2021, Healthy Place To Work® believes that healthier organisations perform better. Our mission is to help organisations create environments where people can thrive, perform sustainably, and contribute at their highest level — without burnout, disengagement, or hidden organisational risk.
By implementing our proven methodology to measure, manage, and monitor workforce health, organisations gain clear, actionable insights that drive measurable improvements in performance, productivity, retention, leadership effectiveness, and culture.

Investment in Research & Innovation
Since 2014, Healthy Place To Work® has made substantial investments in the research, design, development, and validation of our proprietary model and methodology.
Our work is grounded in a simple but powerful insight:
As workforce health declines, performance and productivity suffer. As workforce health improves, performance, resilience, and organisational output increase.
Our research continues to demonstrate the direct connection between workforce health and sustainable business performance — providing leaders with the evidence, tools, and insights needed to make informed strategic decisions.
